Privacy policy of Nova-Vision Sp. z o.o.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) is Nova-Vision Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Wspólna 63B lok. 2, 00-687 Warszawa, Poland, NIP (tax ID) 7010679178, KRS 0000671851, REGON 366943436.

2. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

  1. withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR),
  2. access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  3. have your data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR),
  4. have your data erased — the so-called “right to be forgotten” (Art. 17 GDPR),
  5. restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  6. object to processing based on the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise these rights, email biuro@nova-vision.pl or send a letter to the controller’s registered office.

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process your personal data for the purpose of:

  1. providing services — on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary to enter into or perform a contract),
  2. direct marketing by electronic means of communication and by phone — on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
  3. direct marketing, including profiling — on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
  4. analytics and statistics — on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Data retention period

We store personal data:

  1. in connection with providing services — until the statutory warranty and guarantee periods under the contract expire, or longer if required by generally applicable law,
  2. for marketing purposes — until you withdraw consent or object,
  3. for analytics and statistics — until you object.

5. Data recipients

Your personal data may be shared with entities that process data on the controller’s behalf, e.g. subcontractors and IT service providers. They process data under a contract with the controller and only on its instructions.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

The controller does not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area or to international organisations.

7. Whether providing data is voluntary

Providing personal data in connection with our services is voluntary but necessary for us to provide them — without it we cannot conclude a contract or deliver the service. For other purposes, providing data is voluntary unless required by law.

8. Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

The nova-vision.pl website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone or tablet) while you use the website.

While you browse the website, technical data about your visit is collected automatically, in particular:

  1. IP address,
  2. date and time of the request,
  3. time zone difference from GMT,
  4. content of the request (the specific page),
  5. access status and HTTP response code,
  6. amount of data transferred,
  7. website from which the request came,
  8. web browser,
  9. operating system and its interface,
  10. language and version of the browser software.

This data is not used to identify a specific person.

2. Types of cookies

The website uses the following cookies:

  • first-party — ensuring that the website works properly,
  • third-party — coming from the external providers’ tools described in section 4,
  • session — deleted when you close the browser or turn off the device,
  • persistent — remaining on the device until they are deleted or expire.

Cookies expire no later than 24 months after being stored.

3. Why we use cookies

We use cookies for:

  1. displaying the website correctly and adapting it to your preferences,
  2. compiling statistics and improving the website’s content,
  3. personalising marketing information.

4. Third-party tools

The website may use tools from external providers, including Google Ireland Ltd. (e.g. Google Tag Manager) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which also store cookies. These providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area — under the rules laid down in the GDPR, in particular on the basis of European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. Consent and managing cookies

Cookies necessary for the website to work — handling the contact form session and remembering your cookie choice — are stored without consent. Other cookies, including analytics and marketing cookies, are enabled only after you give consent in the banner shown on your first visit.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing the site data in your browser — the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block and delete cookies in your browser settings; restricting cookies may, however, make some features of the website harder to use.

6. Links to other websites

The website may contain links to other websites. The controller is not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites — we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
